PACE Training Workshop
Join us for a PACE Workshop on October 25 at the Business Resource Center in San Angelo. The details and the link to register are below. Learn how you can create new economy in Tom Green County by helping businesses address deferred maintenance on commercial and industrial buildings throughout the County.
Property Assessed Clean Energy (TX-PACE) is a proven financial tool that incentivizes Texas’ property owners to upgrade facility infrastructure with little or no capital outlay. Approved by State legislation and established by Tom Green County on August 13, TX-PACE programs enable owners to lower their operating costs and use the savings to pay for eligible water conservation, energy efficiency, resiliency, and distributed generation projects. Owners gain access to private, affordable, long-term (typically 10-20 years) financing that is not available through traditional funding avenues.
Join the County, City, San Angelo Development Corporation, and Texas PACE Authority to learn more about how your businesses can benefit from this new economic development program and promote business expansion, retention and revitalization. To date, over $90 million in PACE projects are revitalizing property throughout Texas in projects from $24 million to $74,000. We look forward to seeing you on October 25.
